Vetena (Research Studios Exclusive) is part of our Exclusive Faces Volume 02. Exclusive Faces brings together a unique concept only available at HypeForType. We work closely with a selected 5 prolific designers and illustrators every 3 months to bring you, one off fresh innovative typography. Research Studios is one of the most forward thinking design studios of the 21st century. Originally founded by Neville Brody, the studio now consists of some of the best graphic design talent throughout the UK. This talent includes the likes of James Le Beau-Morley, who worked hard to bring the wonderful Vetena to life. Alongside judging various design awards, Research Studios are also one of the primary studios producing work for the well known annual D&AD awards. With a hugely diverse output, they've produced work for all disciplines, everything from full international company rebrands, to blockbuster film launches, and the tabloids. They are evidently one of the best UK studios concentrating on typographic excellence. It's a pleasure to welcome the Research Studios team to HypeForType, and the Exclusive typeface, Vetena. Vetena is a lowercase display face only and is intended for headlines and display work.
